The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in a California Vehicle Accident
The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in the state of California he was 55 years old.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The renowned video game developer lost his life when his car crashed and caught fire on a motorway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing a devastating loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, those closest to him, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts stated.
